First of all, you should expect this class to be harder than most or all of your previous classes. After all, this is a college course. You’ll have around an hour or more of homework every night. An hour plus of homework seems terrifying. However, it’s the main way Mr. Brock prepares you for the exam, which determines if you get college credit. As far as the actual time in class goes, expect a lot of discussion among students. Mr. Brock encourages everyone to discuss and ask questions as long as they’re on topic. Another thing you’ll need to prepare yourself for are the class unit exams. On these exams, Mr. Brock uses a combination of both his questions and actual previous A.P. Exam questions. He does not give you a study guide like most of your other teachers will do. He will, instead, give you a packet of the PowerPoints he has used during that unit. You’ll have to take it upon yourself to take the information and rearrange it in a way that's easy for you to understand.
